Changing your place of residence in order to work in another country is often a difficult undertaking not only in compliance, legal and logistical terms, but also emotionally. This is particularly the case when partner and family move with the employee and need support to settle successfully in their new home.

We have managed hundreds of such situations and realise how many challenges relocatees face. We have therefore designed a menu of services designed to suit all requirements and expectations.

We offer companies a comprehensive support service covering the many aspects and formalities of an employee relocation. Our help will ensure the employee and their family settle in the new location as quickly as possible.

The scope of relocation service includes:

Our commitment to the relocation process goes beyond standard service. We do everything to ensure the relocatee feels comfortable, settled and safe in the new location, and confident that everyday life for the family will be problem free. Our Orientation service includes:

an information pack, consisting of a guide, a map and a brochure;
a tour around the city, showing the locations and neighbourhoods where other expatriates live or stay;
familiarisation with the names of basic food and household products, to will help everyday shopping;
the relocatee is invited for lunch, where traditional Polish cuisine can be tasted and tried and likes and dislikes identified.

After a day spent exploring the city, the relocatee will feel much more confident in finding key areas and locating, attractions, amenities and facilities.

Finding a new house or flat, located in a good area which is affordable, often requires a lot of time, and knowledge of the rental market. That is why we offer support to relocatees in this area. The service includes:

a search for properties that meet the needs of the relocatee and are within the budget;
collecting the relocatee from an airport, hotel or other agreed place and accompanying them to visit a maximum of 10 properties during the day;
photographs of the properties of interest are sent to the relocatee;
negotiation of the best lease terms on behalf of the relocatee;
assistance with entry formalities when handing over the keys.

If in the future the relocatee requires the services of an electrician or plumber - we can help find the right specialist and assist in communication if there are language barriers.

The service is directed specifically to those companies that plan to relocate an employee for a predetermined contract period, and they do not have the time and market knowledge that would allow them to find the right accommodation.
The service includes:

a search for hotels or furnished flats, which are located in a suitable location, meeting the expectations of the relocatee and are within the stated budget;
a reservation is made for the hotel / flat chosen by the company or relocatee

Many relocatees move to Poland with their immediate family, especially if their contract is long-term. That is why our service also includes assistance in finding a suitable school for children. We complete and provide necessary information about international schools, kindergartens, nurseries, as well as available extracurricular activities or private tutors, according to the needs of the family.

In addition, we help with completing the formalities associated with entry to the chosen school. We will arrange meetings with the head of school for the relocating parents and also attend with them, if requested.

Finding the right apartment or house is just the first step. For life in the new home to be stress free and comfortable, much more is needed. Therefore, the services include:

assistance when signing contracts with digital and media providers (eg internet or television);
assistance when opening a new bank account, e.g. to help in communication;
help in choosing the appropriate insurance for the relocated employee and his family;
organization of a short orientation trip around the local area, so that the whole family can find out where the nearest amenities including grocery store, school, doctor's surgery, laundry, or hairdresser are located.

If required, we also offer assistance in buying or renting furniture.

When the relocatee reaches the end of the assignment and wants to leave Poland to return to home or move to another country, we can help in completing formalities such as:

termination of a flat or house lease agreement;
property check out - we check its condition and assist in the preparation of the inventory and check out procedure;
ensure settlement / refund of deposit;
termination of the contract with media suppliers;
forwarding correspondence to the new address;
settlement of fees related to the use of the property.

In addition, we organize a cleaning team, garbage collection and transfer of unwanted items to a charity organization. This will relieve the relocatee of worrying about the departure process so they can focus on moving to the new location.

The scope of our relocation services also includes property management, for example, we can look after an apartment or a home should it be left vacant for a period.

The service includes:

ensure the timely payment of bills (eg for rent, electricity, internet, etc.);
the ordering of ongoing maintenance work and necessary repairs;
in the absence of an occupant, we receive and forward correspondence and organize a cleaning company visit.

We also visit the flat periodically to make sure that all is well. If there is a requirement, we can even water the plants.

We also offer the service of managing the fixed expenses of the relocatee, relieving the burden of paying bills at the appropriate time. The service includes:

opening a special sub-account for relocatee’s settlements;
redirection of all bills to the Express Relocations address.

All fees are paid on the due dates, and at the end of the month the relocatee receives a report summarizing all expenses. If, over time, additional services are used which requirepayment of fixed fees then all that is needed to be done is to inform us and we will do the rest.
